The REMILA region had the mass this morningwith singing in Latin and some two part pieces in Spanish.
The day was spent in the Aula taking votes on many of the issues. In the afternoon we ended by meeting in our commissions to do an auto critique of the chapter.
This evening was spent in chatting, laughter and enjoying each other’s company. One group went in search of chocolate red pepper gelato. Word has it that is it very good. Some turned in early for a good night sleep while others viewed the spectacular fireworks.
Have you noticed the red roof tiles on DomisPacis and the surrounding buildings in Assisi? The clay used for these are mined from the earth here. Now as we begin to prepare to return to our own communities our hearts are full of gratitude.
The Lord granted us many graces during our time together and we thank all those who put so much effort into organizing and preparing for this chapter. We are also grateful to you who have been reading the blog and supported us with your prayers.
There is one day left and so possibly one more entry to tie up the loose ends.
